The cataclysms have begun

MACHIVENTA:  Good morning, this is Machiventa Melchizedek.  It is good to be here with you.  As you are seeing from your global weather reports, cataclysms have begun as far as the climate is concerned.  This is one set of cataclysms that will continue on for many years until the energy level in the atmosphere and the oceans are balanced once again.  The tectonic activity of the planet continues, yet there will be what you might call “planet grade cataclysms,” which will become very exceptional, those 1:100,000 years of experience, those incidents that occur so rarely that they stand out above all others.  These will be occurring in the years to come; they will have an impact upon your economies, your social structures and your political environment around you.

In a small way, these cataclysms are visible when geologists do their work after a climate event, such as occurred in Colorado 18 months ago on September 2013 when there was a 1,000 year flood that caused tremendous damage in the canyons, and so on.  It was not until after the floods have passed that geologists were able to ascertain from sedimentary history, the impact of this occurrence, and it was a 1,000-year event.  This was a small cataclysm in a local, regional area of one state, and you can see what impact it had on this region.  It changed how highways were constructed and rivers were banked in the future.

The slow creep of social change

Today’s message, which I wish to deliver to you, is in reflection of those comments I mentioned just a moment ago.  This has to do with the slow creep of social change.  The slow creep of social change is so slow, so small that even watching paint dry on the wall, to coin one of your expressions, is a very rapid event compared to the slow creep of social change that occurs in many nations, particularly in the mature and developed democracies of the world.  The slow creep of social change is almost invisible and unrecognized by most people; particularly, it blends into the background of permanence when considering the technological innovations and announcements and the rapid change of technologies that you have experienced in the last 20-25 years.  When you see these developments on your news, on your television, and your computer news site, you realize that there is great change occurring, yet the slow creep of social change continues on, inexorably grinding all the time.

Evolution or revolution of social change?

How social change manifests in a society depends on whether it is used as a force of evolution, or as a force or cause of revolution.  Revolutions in a democracy are anathema and are a signal of the complete deterioration of the social, political and economic structures of that society.  That would be an indication that those who were in power, and the citizens of that nation were asleep at the wheel and did not change course or make adjustments as those changes became egregious and intolerable.  And of course, revolutions in any regime occur when conditions become intolerable.  We are not speaking about the coup d'états that occur at the highest levels of political hierarchies, we are talking about the revolutions that occur at the lowest level of the public.  These are to be avoided at all costs in a democracy.  Democracies are to evolve; the very nature of democracies is such that social change must be taken into account to become an initiating cause of evolutionary changes to a nation’s political, social and economic structures.

The relationship of Planetary Management in spiritual change

This may seem very esoteric to many of you, however, it is intimately relevant to planetary management.  Our work is to work with you at the local level—specifically individuals who are attuned or in tune with the changes that spirit is bringing about in their personal lives, and through their personal lives they give expression to constructive, positive changes, efforts, causes for the evolution of societies, economies, governments and politics.  Christ Michael’s Correcting Time program does not begin at the pinnacles of hierarchies; it begins at the broad base of the public, of each individual and their individual faith relationship with their Thought Adjuster, the First Source and Center, and with Christ Michael himself as the Creator of the Local Universe.

Democracies are the starting place for change

Because democracies are based on the will and authority of the public, and upon the good of the public—good for and of the public—this is the most appropriate place for political, social and economic change.  This is the same level that spiritual realization and understanding and connections are made between individuals and the First Source and Center.  So, do you see the intimacy that exists between democracy, peace and the work of the Correcting Time?  It is not that politics will become a spiritual enterprise at all, but that through the lives of spirit-led individuals, the politics and economies and social structures and conduct of nations will be changed through the good of those individuals, and the expression of their lives in their work.

It is unfortunate however, that in most democracies the origins of those democracies were simply to get away from, or to become separate from the monarchical authorities that formed those early democracies.  As an example, Britain established the British Colonies in North America to expand the British Empire for resources, for building the coffers of the British Crown and the British Government.  Yet, the independence and distance of the Americas from their home monarchies, whether Portugal, Spain, France or Britain, was such that their independence seeped into their lives.  Their early obligations to the Crown became egregious, and so revolution was spawned.

You are responsible for the conduct and performance of your government

Now, considering all that, there are forward thinkers in every nation who see, feel, measure and note the slow creep of social, political and economic change.  These observations have been used contemporarily in your nations as a means to further support the economies, or take advantage economically of the changes that are created.  Yet, they have not been used as measurements or precursors of immense social, political and economic cataclysms within nations that do not heed that slow creep of change.  Remember, you individually are responsible for the conduct and the performance of your governments.  These are the founding concepts and principles and philosophies of democracies.  What can you do?  You can hold in consciousness that which is good, that which is true, that which is permanent, that which is the emphasis of empathy to understand your neighbor’s situation across the street or in the lot next to you, or the apartment next to you, to understand their situation and to then reach out in compassion to assist them.

The Internet is used for Christ Michael’s work

The broadening web of Christ Michael’s work through social sustainability is to create a social, political and economic evolution within the democracies that are best suited for this.  Open communications that are provided through the Internet are extremely rapid and these are being used by us to assist broadening humanitarianism of the philosophies of organizations that will connect together and eventually create the positive changes that are needed.

Understanding your place and responsibilities in the world

My message today has been far distant from the personal addresses that we have made in the past, but it is one that we give to you to help you understand your place in the world, your responsibilities in the world.  Your responsibilities are first to yourself, your soul and to your ascendant career, and your relationship to your Thought Adjuster.  Second, it is to your family, to your partner, and particularly to your children, to assist them to become socially sustainable individuals, who can live in the goodness that their human nature has within them, to express that for themselves and others.  You have responsibilities to the social structures of where you live and in the nations where you live, because you are a part of that social structure and you cannot wiggle away from that.  You will have an opportunity in your lives now, and in the future to be of service, and the social level of your existence is where service is given.  That may be to the neighbors next to you, across the street, or in the apartment next to you, or above or below you, but it is a responsibility to be of service for the growth of your soul.

I hope through these comments that you are beginning to see the grand “knitted sweater” that everyone wears as a mortal, on a world that is growing and evolving.  You have an important part to play where you are, in the times where you are, to bring about a more successful and prosperous and joyful world to live in for your children and great, great grandchildren.

MMc:  Are there any questions about what Machiventa has told us today?

Using the vectors of probability

Student:  I have a question.  When you talk about the responsibilities to the world, nation and where you live, could you please explain to me, and maybe others, how you utilize the vectors of probability?

MACHIVENTA:  The vectors of probability in the lives of most people are almost irrelevant, but for you that have learned about the vectors of probability, they become highly relevant.  When you see a vector of probability that comes into your life, you can have an effective opportunity to affect positive change in that vector by your consciousness and by your own life, to the lives of your children and to your societies by the service you take and the attitude you take, and your perspectives of responsibility to yourself, your children and to your society.  That is a broad paintbrush I know to answer your question, but it is applicable to everyone as they interpret the values of social sustainability in their lives, and as they conduct themselves in service.

Student:  So, the biggest things that I am picking up on are the thoughts that we are emanating or projecting, and those positive thoughts that will go out from us into the consciousness of the world.  Is this what you are talking about in the vectors of probability too?

MACHIVENTA:  Yes, you can have a meaningful impact upon all those vectors of probability through your attitude and the thoughts and consciousness you project onto the world.  Thank you for your insight.

Student:  Thank you for your answer.  That really has helped me a lot.

MMc:  I have a couple of questions from our audience on cataclysms.  Will the cataclysms be such that they will force people out of their independent mode and into the need to work together?

MACHIVENTA:  Yes.  I will state that simply as one word as it offers you opportunity to ask further questions, please.

Cataclysms are an opportunity for service and working together

MMc:  My friend did not send me a follow-up question…  I’m working on one very quickly.  I believe we can see in the cataclysms that have happened in Nepal and some of the other earthquake areas, and the areas where there are tornados and in the flood in Colorado that you mentioned, there are following the cataclysms or at the time of the cataclysms, there is a coming together of people in those areas and around the world and in Nepal where the aid workers can come from, several different countries to Nepal to help out that country and those people… so this is part of the service that you were talking about?

MACHIVENTA:  Yes, in some ways it is part of the service.  That service is a means for individuals to add weight to their soul, having learned how to make moral decisions and ethical decisions, and to abide by their social conscience.  Service then becomes the venue, the avenue by which individuals can add great weight to their soul, to give expression to the goodness in their lives as they express their compassion for others.  What we are hoping is that individuals find with repeated cataclysms of a minor nature, whether they are hurricanes, tornados or earthquakes in regional areas, is that yes, you can reconstruct buildings, you can save antiquities, and so on, and you can rebuild your city hall and fire station and peoples’ homes, but what is missing and we are advocating is that the social structure of communities needs attention as well.  Where are children taken?  How are children treated when their parents are killed in a disaster as that?  What happens to family structures when these cataclysms occur?  How do you reform communities?  These functions seem to be almost totally absent from the reconstruction of disaster areas as we have seen.

The reconstruction of communities

The good functioning of a city is comprised of good functioning communities, and families that are whole and can participate in those communities whether they are simply shoppers going to a store where the store supports the neighborhood.  A community is an inter-working of individuals who have an inter-dependence of relationship on the social plane, to assist the good function of the larger city or larger community.  The reasons we are promoting the factors of social sustainability at this time, before the cataclysms have become horrendous, is to help prepare people for the reconstruction of their communities afterwards— during and afterwards as they occur.  It is important that lives be brought together.

Begin reconstruction at the family level

You have the example in South Africa where apartheid shattered the family structure.  Apartheid was such that it required the African indigenous populations to live apart from the Afrikaner populations.  This meant that fathers who lived farther away from the gold mines and diamond mines had to live in shantytowns close to the mines.  This left the family structure as fractured, which continued on for many generations.  However, because of the tribal nature of those indigenous populations, they have a high sense of community functioning, but they have a low capacity for family building.  This is evidenced by early pregnancies, and families with fathers being absent, and so on.  This is a terrible situation for every new generation, which grows up as emotionally, socially abandoned children who grow up to be adults who feel the same way.  There is a complete disconnect.  So the work of reconstruction after cataclysms must begin at the family level; it must be able to bring families together where they can raise children with father and mother role models, even if the father and mother models came from different families.  It must, of course, be on a voluntary basis that makes sense to everyone.  Do you see the connection?

MMc:  What you’re saying is that there is still a problem after these cataclysms in that the social bonding of the family is not happening, or is not occurring to the level that you’d like to see it.  And again, when you have these cataclysms and there is loss of the father and mother of the children, the family structure… the family structure needs to come back together again and be strong.  Am I correct in …?

MACHIVENTA:  Of course you are correct.  Now I will ask you a learning question:  Why do you think this is important to Christ Michael and the Correcting Time?

MMc:  I’ll drop back on the fact that I know that the family, the individual in the family is the basic unit of civilization, the basic unit of society, and if the family unit does not function well, then the individual can’t function well and there can be no sustainable individuals, and no sustainable families, and therefore, no sustainable civilization.

Children must feel safe, which leads to trust

MACHIVENTA:  You are correct; you have half of the answer.  The rest of the answer is that the family structures that are healthy lead to children who feel safe.  The first response of newborn children is to feel safe—they do not recognize the word, but they do know when their environment is threatened; simply being born is a threat to their existence and to their peace.  What is needed is an environment that supports the safe raising of children in a safe environment—safe emotionally, physically, socially and so on.  Feeling safe leads to trust, and trust is fundamental to love, to the development of love and intimacy.  Where there is no safety and no trust, there cannot be love—there will not be love.  So, love is the state of existence of expression of living in safety, of trusting.

And trusting leads to the personal relationship with the Thought Adjuster within, with the First Source and Center of Paradise, that the family structure is truly a spiritually generating social-spiritual entity; it is a source of spiritizing, preparing individuals for the spiritizing their lives and their ascendant journey.  It is highly important in the Correcting Time that safe family structures come into existence, that there be families with permanence—at least permanence where the children are raised in safety and in trust until they leave their home structures, knowing what a true father/mother model is, and trusting sibling relationships—and even with extended family.  The connection between integral, consistent families of love and trust and healthy role models is primary to the development of the relationship between the individual and God.  It is a paramount social reality that is necessary to promote the growth of the development and graduation of healthy souls into the afterlife, into the morontial realm.  And of course, those will see a higher percentage of being retained and choosing to go on with the ascendant journey, rather than abandoning the ascendant journey into nothingness.

Factors affecting mental health

MMc:  Thank you.  The second question I have:  it has been suggested that increasing energy changes in our sun over the past few generations are causing changes in solar systems, planets and also changes in our consciousness.  How does this affect the incidence of mental health?

MACHIVENTA:  Less than you would realize.  Those changes are miniscule compared to the social environment of the individual and to their genetic make-up, which they bring into life.  Those two factors have a huge affect upon the mental health of individuals.  And the last part is that mental health, when there is consciousness or awareness of their state of existence, becomes a personal responsibility to maintain in the best form as possible.  It is not that the state of mental health becomes a choice of the individual, but the choice of the individual can effect the development and manifestation of mental health, happiness and mental health illness.  Often individuals are reluctant to affect change in their lives, and remain adamant that they are in control of their lives and they reject other states of existence.  In many cases as this there may be a need for psychotropic drugs to balance the individuals so that they can live a fairly normal social life.  Oftentimes the mental condition of the individual is such that there is no ability to reclaim a stable sense of mental stability.  This is very unfortunate and it causes a great deal of difficulty in the life of the individual and for the Thought Adjuster.  The ultimate decision lies with the Thought Adjuster when the condition is so permanent and the mind so damaged to the point where they either leave or remain and strive to work through the remnants of the mind that are still functional.

MMc:  Are there any more questions on this topic, ladies?

Fractured families

Roxie:  Machiventa, you used the example of families being separated in South Africa by their fathers going to work in the gold and diamond mines, what is the solution to that situation, if the fathers have no other means of working near their families?  How do we find a solution to that kind of a situation?

MACHIVENTA:  Look at your history—25 years ago there was the cultural, social revolution that brought in the young democracy of South Africa; that is one solution.  The solution that you were speaking of is personal, and that is a situation of awareness that education provides to the minds of every individual.  When one is not educated to examine and test and analyze their social reality, there are very few options that they see.  It is a matter of understanding where you live and the larger surroundings of that situation.

When you have the advent of new technologies and new lifestyles, and individuals who are impoverished, they see the splendor of materiality of those who are wealthy, or even moderately wealthy; they aspire to do that and think that the way to have that lifestyle is to earn money to appreciate and buy the things that the wealthier people have.  However, such marginal incomes make it difficult for those individuals to find happiness in humble circumstances.  It is not that indigenous people are unthinking individuals—certainly they are not—they bring the same potential into life as individuals do in San Jose, California in the 21st Century.  The mind of every Homo sapien has a similar quotient for intelligence and capacity to think and devise new ways of living, but if you are never informed or educated to think that way, where you see options around you where no one else does, then you become part of the environment that sees no choice and has given up hope.

Your question can be answered on numerous levels, and I have striven to approach the one at the macro level, at the social, national level and the one at the individual level.  What is behind this is that in order to enhance the quality of life of individuals, they must be given an opportunity to grow, and to grow with the same opportunities equally as those who are wealthy.  This is the core problem that you find in Occupy Wall Street—intelligent people with unfulfilled lives.  These individuals see the options in life, but have no means to access it, and yet who still see as the indigenous population of a technologically, developing economy in South Africa, that they do not have the possibility of being happy in humble circumstances.

A lack of options leads to frustrations and revolutions

Roxie:  Monjoronson once said that “A person who feels they have no options in life becomes very dangerous.”  I am not totally sure what he means by “dangerous” in that situation.  Do you see that those workers who feel like they have no options… (Long pause)  I’ve gotten myself into another corner with that question.

MACHIVENTA:  I will provide a statement to the broad proposition of what you are trying to state and that is:  Yes, there is evidence of eventual discord and revolution when you see evidence of personal and social frustration.  At first it manifests in a developed democracy as protests and demonstrations and sit-downs and Occupy Wall Street sort of activities.  It becomes more evident and visible in ghettos and elsewhere as a high incidence of violent crime, a high incidence of fatherless births to young women, there is a higher incidence of theft and robberies by the long-term unemployed.

These are expressions of frustration; these acts of violence are evidence of frustrations with the status quo of a situation.  When you see violence and riots within American ghettos and ethnic and racial enclaves, this is evidence of inequality.  It is evidence that “it’s not working,” that the social process is no longer functioning well.  When you see more and more evidence of this you can anticipate that there will be a more widespread acceptance of widespread violence.  The evidence of the 1% of the world owning 85% of all the assets in the world should be an alarm that awakens everyone across the world, particularly in developed and developing democracies.  This yawning disparity of social equity is an indication that something is wrong and that violence is on the horizon, that there will be social adjustment of some sort.

What a cataclysm brings to the situation

What no one anticipates is what a cataclysm may bring to that situation; it may bring an economic meltdown when people who are used to making $150,000 to $200,000 a year for their family are no longer employed, and there is no work available for them anywhere as the economy has collapsed.  What then?  When you see fragility as this socially, economically and politically across the world, when you see these huge disparities of wealth, you must realize that the wealthy also sees this.  They have economists and futurists who tell them what the problems are, and what to anticipate, and so they invest in financial instruments in more secure places.  What is difficult too, is that neither those below, nor those people in the 1% have an adequate rational means for the distribution of wealth, to reinvest in ways that are meaningful without squandering that money and seeing it turned against them.

The principles of social sustainability are meant to assist the formation of social and economic policies of individuals and of foundations, to distribute their wealth in ways that are meaningful, that make meaningful contributions and reflect well on the foundation or the individual.  It is not necessary that governments become involved in the redistribution of wealth, and it is not advisable that they do, for we have seen what that leads to in those chambers and those halls of government.  The core values of social sustainability and the core value-emotions are meant to assist wealthy individuals and philanthropic institutions to distribute their money in ways that are positive and constructive, and which also will help not only to defuse the tense economic disparities that are so evident, but also give rise to greater opportunities to individuals and enhance the economy at the same time.

Roxie:  Thank you; that was very helpful to me.  It has opened my eyes to see a much bigger picture of the whole situation.

The goal of financial equality

Student:  With the social sustainability and how it will evolve as the planet evolves, is one of the goals to have no “wealthy people” as such?  Is it not equality for everybody that is the goal?

MACHIVENTA:  You will find that a great salad is made with sweet and sour ingredients.  You will find that in a society there always will be wealth, and there will always be poverty.  There are individuals who simply are incompetent and incapable of raising themselves to the levels of even a moderate or mediocre income and quality of life and living.  Those individuals, no matter how humane the principles of social sustainability may be, and how rational they are, and how good they would be for everyone, will still, nonetheless, because of their proclivities of choice for their ego, always want to remain aloof and distant or highly visible with their wealth, compared to everyone else.

The equality of everyone having the same kind of income, would certainly produce a very “vanilla type” of economy and social structure.  It would then—in this scenario—support individuals who choose not to work, who choose not to achieve, who choose not to be competitive, or to improve their status of life.  There are other individuals who simply do not have the intellect to choose to make those choices, but who wish to live moderately and capably within the means that they have been given at birth.  A “vanilla” existence would not be advantageous.  What is necessary is that people be able to grow into their potential and achieve the quality of life that is commensurate to that ability and potential, and to do so as well as others of the same means of intellectual competence.

Planets in Light and Life still have some rebellious individuals

Student:  But Machiventa, a hundred thousand years down road, we humans will have to evolve into Light and Life; we have to become more spiritual, where money and all those things are not important.  We are working toward spirit.  Is this not right?

MACHIVENTA:  Individuals work towards spirit, yes.  You will find as you age in your ascendant career that as you visit worlds that are truly in a well-developed era of Light and Life, that there still remain individuals who are rebellious, who know the outcome of rebellious behavior, but who choose that course nonetheless.

Student:  Oh, I just assumed, and I shouldn’t assume that everybody would be pretty well on the same page by then, and there would not be individuals that would choose not to.

MACHIVENTA:  The nature of God’s Creation of self-willed individuals of mortal, fallible character allows for that to occur, and that is part of the individual’s self-will to find where they fit comfortably with themselves and sometimes they do not fit comfortably with others.

Planning for disasters

Student:  I have another question and this has to do with disasters.  If you are attending a meeting where everybody is discussing the results of a near disaster, my question is:  In the planning of future prevention of anything when a disaster happens, would you have any questions that could be asked regarding the planning, of making sure that the planning is in effect for any future disasters?  I don’t know if I worded that right.

MACHIVENTA:  Let us see if we can make smooth that rough question.   Disasters present themselves to individuals as unexpected, unplanned for and generally create havoc in the personal lives of individuals, and in families, communities and whole societies.  It helps in the planning stage if there were individuals who might have anticipated that such a disaster would occur.  It would help in the planning if there was thought of the principles of social sustainability in the process of planning for reconstruction after the disaster, whether that is after a hurricane, a tornado, or after an earthquake, or simply a rupture of a water main in your street, which flooded houses for many blocks.

There is a need for an attitude of compassion and empathy to understand an individual’s situation, and then have those resources lined up to assist in the recovery.  That may mean that the bureaucracy of local government was such that it would bypass the litigious process of awarding grants or making things right.  You have already seen in some disasters where those who hold the resources simply apply those resources where they are needed.  Whether that is an emergency crew, a fire rescue crew or an insurance company that says, “You are our client, you need help, we are here and we are helping you.  We’ll figure out the details shortly”. So the insurance company would award the family, or whoever, a preliminary check of meaningful substance and later on through the disaster evaluation, ascertain the true amount of compensation.

What is important in a small disaster situation is to apply the resources “now” when people need help.  What you are seeing with the huge disparity of wealth in prosperous nations is that the resources are there, but they are not being used.  There is not the public means to bring those who hold those huge financial assets into the stream of helping others for the great good of all, and eventually helping themselves in return.

Student:  Thank you Machiventa; that helped a lot.

The complexity of Planetary Management

MACHIVENTA:  I would say in closing that Planetary Management is far more complex than you may have realized.  It is far more detailed than any mortal on your planet has ever considered.  It is only possible through omniscient minds to hold in that hand and in that mind, the care of individuals, which may number in the billions, and to care for them simultaneously, uniquely and individually where they are, as they are, and to assist them to grow into their potential and express that in a higher quality of life, whether that means spiritually or materially.  The holism that we are trying to teach you is one that will do you well throughout your complete ascendant career.

The empathy that you are learning here, as a mortal, is truly important as you become as powerful as a Creator Son, to fully understand what the life of a mortal is like.  This is what the emphasis and the reason for requiring the seven bestowals of the Creator Sons is for, it is to give them the capacity for human empathy, for mortal empathy, to truly feel and know and completely understand the agony and the ecstasy of individuals who live on the planet as they experienced their lives, so that as Creator Sons they are able to truly be able to manifest the plans that bring planets into Light and life.

Planetary Management fits uniquely and exquisitely in that puzzle, that formation.  So as you continue your life and your ascendant career, you have learned this lesson of empathy.  When you learn that as a mortal on a planet, you take that with you.  This is an experience that will never be withheld from you.  And the compassion, the willingness to literally “will-yourself” to reach out and help others, is a will-decision that will never be forgotten in the history of your life, and as you, as an eternal being in the corps of Finality.  The willingness to treat others as equally as yourself is of immense importance.

The three core values are directly connected to your ascendant career

So you see, the three core values of social sustainability are directly connected to your ascendant career and to the placements of yourself as you graduate from this mortal life, exit the resurrection halls and enter the mansion worlds.  What we are teaching you here through Planetary Management and the three core values of social sustainability, and the three core value-emotions, are essential to your ascendant career.  You truly are learning to be eternal beings now, when you open your eyes and you see what this means for yourself.  When we suggest to you and urge you to be of service, truly it is of service to you, personally and eternally, when you see it as an important part—and not as an adjunct—but integral to your ascendant career to become who you will truly become, and to be embraced by the Creator in Paradise.  Good day.
